- Advertise and show the home
- Interview prospective tenants and have them complete an application
- Verify credentials and check references for applicants
- Complete a Residential Tenancy Agreement
- Collect a security deposit
- Complete a condition inspection report of the home each time a tenant moves in or out
- Refund the security deposit plus interest as provided in the Residential Tenancy Act
- Collect rent and remit to owner or owner’s bank
- Prepare a monthly statement with a copy of paid invoices
- Conduct interim inspections throughout the tenancy
- Arrange for repairs and maintenance – preventative, routine and emergency
- Pay invoices
- Liaison between the owner and the tenant
- Prepare and attend Arbitration Hearings if necessary(additional fee may apply)
